Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using this platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. Who can use this platform

This platform provides public information about the UL Pool Club, operating under the UL Wolves clubs and societies structure. It also provides member-only features to current members of the UL Pool Club.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. Each account is for one individual, so please don't share your login, or create or use an account on behalf of another person without their permission.

4. Membership

The public pages of this platform are open to everyone. Access to member-only areas is limited to current members of UL Pool Club, and membership itself is arranged separately through UL Wolves, not through this platform. Creating an account here does not make you a club member. Access to member-only areas may be subject to verification of your current UL Pool Club membership.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Introduce any malware or malicious code
• Scrape or otherwise systematically collect data from the platform without permission
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with the club
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the platform you're not authorised to use
• Use the platform in a way that disrupts it or interferes with other members' use of it
• Use the platform in a way that breaches any applicable UL Pool Club, University of Limerick or UL Wolves policies

6. Intellectual property and branding

The software, design, and written content of this platform may be protected by intellectual property rights. You may use the platform for its intended purpose, including viewing club information and using the member features you're entitled to. You may not copy, resell, or repurpose the platform itself.

The UL Pool Club name, crest and other club branding, and any UL Wolves or University of Limerick branding shown on this platform, may be protected by intellectual property rights belonging to the relevant rights holders. You may not use such branding outside the platform without appropriate permission.

7. Availability of the service

This platform is run by a student club on a best-effort, volunteer basis. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or contain particular features, and it may change or be temporarily unavailable from time to time.

8. Third-party links

This platform may link to external sites and services, such as UL Wolves, the University of Limerick, or other event-related systems. We aren't responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those external sites, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, or at your request. You can ask us to close your account at any time by contacting us (see Section 13). We may restrict access to member-only features if your current UL Pool Club membership cannot be verified. Suspension or termination of your account on this platform does not itself affect your membership status with the UL Pool Club. Once your account is closed, you will no longer be able to access member-only features or the information associated with your account.

10. Privacy

Our processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

This platform is provided free of charge, as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the UL Pool Club is not responsible for loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the platform develops; the date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Questions can be sent to pool@ulwolves.ie. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify registered users.
